Individual visit - Heart of the Abbey

Would you like to visit the historic heart of the abbey at Museum PARCUM? Then reserve your place for this guided walk-in tour.

During this tour, you will be immersed in the philosophy and rich history of the abbey and the Norbertine Order. You will admire the abbey’s showpieces and discover the story of the unique 17th-century stucco ceilings created by Jan Christian Hansche, as well as the cloister with 20 virtuoso and monumental 17th-century stained-glass windows reinstalled by the Leuven glass artist Jan de Caumont. These are now officially recognised and protected as Flemish Masterpieces. You will also visit the phenomenal refectory and the imposing monastic library.
